Fresh fruits
Apples and pears come from orchards we buy from every season, and citrus arrives by the pallet through the winter, when it is actually at its best. Fruit is picked into your order loose rather than trayed, so you take three apples if three apples is what you need.
Berries are the one thing worth ordering for the day you will eat them — they ship chilled and are at their best within three days. Everything else keeps a week in the drawer.
