What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a site asks your browser to store, so that the next request can be recognised as coming from the same visitor. Without them a basket would empty between two pages and a login would not survive a click. We also use two similar technologies — local storage, which keeps a small amount of data in the browser, and pixel requests, which record that a page or an email was opened. Everything in this policy applies to all three.
The categories we use

We do not use cookies to build a profile of what you eat, and we do not share analytics or marketing data with brokers.
If you refuse the optional categories
Everything you need in order to shop keeps working: browsing, the basket, the checkout, your account, delivery slots and refunds. What stops is our ability to see which pages are failing and whether an email was worth sending, so refusing costs you nothing and costs us only insight.
How to change or withdraw your consent
- Use the cookie settings link in the site footer — it reopens the banner with your current choices, and a change takes effect immediately.
- Withdrawing consent stops any further use of that category; cookies already stored are deleted the next time you load a page.
- Your browser settings can block or delete cookies for the whole site, including the strictly necessary ones, which will break the basket and the login.
- Private or incognito windows drop every cookie when you close them, so the banner will appear again on your next visit.
