Meadowturn Dairy
Meadowturn is a single dairy with a single herd, which is unusual enough on a supermarket shelf to be worth saying. Milk is pasteurised but not homogenised, so the cream still rises and you can pour it off; the yoghurt is set in the pot it ships in and has two things on the label, milk and cultures.
Eggs come from an organic-certified free-range flock forty kilometres out of Kaunas and reach us within three days of being laid. Deliveries arrive every second morning, so nothing on this shelf is more than two days old when you get it.
