Bronze dies scuff the pasta as it is extruded; a teflon die polishes it. That roughness is the whole difference — it holds sauce and it releases starch into the water, which is why the cooking water from good pasta is worth saving. Cook it a minute short of the packet, then finish it in the pan with the sauce and a ladle of that water.

Kokybė aiškiai geresnė nei pigių makaronų. Verda kiek ilgiau nei rašo ant pakuotės – man reikėjo dešimt minučių, ne devynių.
Good pasta, but it sticks badly if you do not stir it in the first minute — rougher surface, more starch. Worth knowing.
