Millwright Baking Sourdough Rye Loaf 800 g
Rye keeps far better than wheat: this loaf is at its best on day two or three, when the crumb has settled and slices cleanly. Store it cut-side down on a board under a cloth, not in a plastic bag — plastic softens the crust and starts mould two days early. If you will not finish it, slice the whole loaf and freeze it in a bag; it toasts straight from frozen.

Pagaliau ruginė duona, kuri kvepia raugu, o ne mielėmis. Trečią dieną riekiasi net geriau nei pirmą – būtent taip, kaip parašyta prekės aprašyme, ir tai retai kada pasitvirtina.
Geras tankus kepalas, viso grūdo skonis stiprus. Vienintelis dalykas – atvežtas popieriniame maišelyje jis šiek tiek apdulkėjo bagažinėje, tad iškart perkelkite ant lentos.
Proper rye — heavy, slightly sour, and it does not go stale on day two the way a wheat loaf does. Freezes and toasts exactly as the description says.
Good bread but denser than I expected from the photo — this is a proper Baltic rye, not a light sourdough. My fault for not reading, and my kids will not touch it.
Perku kas savaitę. Su sviestu ir druska – vakarienė. Kaina už tokį kepalą visiškai sąžininga.
