Verdant Mill Carrots, loose
Unwashed carrots keep two to three weeks in a cool dark cupboard and about a month in the bottom of the fridge; washed ones start going soft in a week, which is why we leave the field soil on. Cut the tops off before storing — leaves keep drawing moisture out of the root. Sizes are mixed on purpose, so there are small ones for roasting whole and big ones for grating.

Weighed goods are priced per kilogram and picked to within 30 g of your order. If a piece cannot be cut exactly — a whole chicken breast, a wedge of cheese — we round down rather than up and charge the weight on the label.

Loose produce is picked into your order on the morning it leaves us, and meat and counter cheese are cut the same day. Everything travels chilled in insulated totes.

Do not wash produce before storing it — damp skin is what starts the rot. Wash it when you cook it.
Order before 14:00 for next-day delivery, or pick a two-hour evening slot. Collection from any of our stores is free and usually ready within two hours.

Mixed sizes means some are tiny and some enormous, which is a nuisance if you want even batons. Taste and price are both good though.
Sultiniui ir troškiniams – idealu. Perku po tris kilogramus, nes kaina už kilogramą tikrai gera.
